About Cambridgeshire Inclusion

... a united and integrated recovery service delivering respectful services for people in Cambridgeshire

Inclusion was successful in its recent bid to operate adult drug treatment services across the county of Cambridgeshire. The contract includes all community drug treatment interventions and non-prescribing services at HMP Whitemoor, a high security establishment in the north of the county.

The previous service providers were Addaction and Phoenix Futures, both large national non-statutory providers of substance misuse services. Around 75 staff were employed by both organisations on these contracts and transferred to SSSFT on the new contract start date of 2nd April 2012.

All services are now operational.

In the line with the National Recovery Agenda and CDAAT's service specification, Inclusion are delivering a range of recovery-orientated interventions across the county, including Cambridge, Huntingdon, Ely, St.Neot's, Wisbech and other locations.

The service will build on the existing network of Recovery Champions and volunteers as a key component of its work.

Inclusion was established in 2002 as part of the specialist directorate of South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

We aim to be positively different through positive practice and positive partnerships. What matters most to us are people; the people we work to provide effective services for, the people who work for us and the people we work in partnership with.
